I wrote this for all those folks who've mentioned (or is that 'complained'?) that I leave too much to the imagination in most of my stories, that I'm too romantic, that I don't get 'down and dirty', and/or that I shy away from actually describing all the hard core action. Well, here you go. This one is a lot more graphic and crude-talking than my usual fare. Don't say I didn't warn you. Hope you like it

The muted clack of the keyboard had been getting slower and slower and had finally stopped altogether. The figure seated at the desk took his hands from the desktop and held them to his head while thinking furiously, then lowered them back into place on the keyboard… to no avail.

The sound of a car in the driveway caught her breath up short. He was here. She looked in the mirror, made sure lipstick wasn’t smeared on her teeth, smoothed her skirt and then her hair, took a deep breath, and… waited by the door. … Where was he? Surely he was coming in? Oh god, she was so nervous. *** He was nervous. He sat in his car and looked at the house. He’d seen it before of course, but now it looked… almost sinister. What was going to happen tonight? His life had almost spiraled out of control over the last year and now… now he was going on a date.

Your waiter approaches and, properly trained, hands you a menu already opened to the inside pages. In the pocket for ‘Daily Specials’ you find a handwritten note saying: Darling, I need you to be brave and trust me. Tell the waiter that you will have the Lovers Special and then let us take care of you. ---Love-- You look up to see the waiter grinning at you with a raised eyebrow. You flush slightly but say in a firm voice “I’ll have the Lovers Special.”
