In the Weekly Update, John (the manager of MAXX Adult Emporium), will try to educate and entertain as well as inform you of the changes we’ve made to the website and announcements related to our stores. This is where you can easily learn about new toys we’ve added, new articles, stories, and blogs that have been written, things happening in the brick & mortar stores, and anything else I think you’ll be interested in knowing about. Happy Birthday William Claude Dukenfield, aka W. C. Fields. A teetotaler in youth, you eventually developed a fondness for alcohol that became as much a part of your persona as your unique sense of humor. Quoted as saying "I can't stand water because of the things fish do in it.", you held onto your quirky ways even through your last days sick in a hospital where you were observed reading the bible and gave the following reply when asked about it, "I'm checking for loopholes." I'd bet that if anyone could, you'd find them.
"Never give a sucker an even break!" That could be the motto of many adult stores, because it certainly seems to be the practice they keep... something we hope will never be said about us. Let me give you one example that occurred recently: There is a wonderful product called Stiff Nights that a couple of months ago stopped being produced. It's a pill that is a chemical analog to Viagra or Cyalis that has many customers and fans, but they couldn't afford to fight off the army of lawyers who descended upon them, so they shut their doors instead. With it no longer being made, supplies are limited to what's already out there and customers who like it are buying it in quantity to stock up while they can. Every store that I know of (other than us) immediately jacked up their prices because they knew they had a hostage customer base. "Law of supply and demand" they said. We even had people from our distributor who couldn't understand why we didn't follow suit and raise our prices. "Because we're already charging a fair price and would rather not insult our customers by squeezing them for an extra buck." Apparently they'd never heard that before... from anyone! I think they've decided we're crazy... and we're fine with that. We'll keep doing what we think is best; best for us, best for you, and eventually if we're proved right, maybe even best for the industry.
In the short list of toy companies that are the best in the industry, Lelo toys are so sure of the quality of their components, they have just added a 10 year guarantee in addition to their 1 year warranty! That is nearly unheard of for sex toys. The only other company that comes close (I say close because they are dildos that don't vibrate, and thus have no motors to break down) are the Vixskin toys that have a lifetime warranty. Here's hoping that more companies take such pride in their workmanship and do the same.

Speaking of which, Valentine's Day is fast approaching and we've got all your gift needs covered with well over 100 new items entered just in this last month. Folks shouldn't worry about what the fish do in the water, at least not if they knew what really can happen in the water when you get together with a partner! My advice for this upcoming cold & snowy weekend is to take a bath with your sweetheart. Fill your tub with hot soapy water and slide into it together (don't forget the bubbles!) It's just as much fun to sit facing each other (where you get to lustfully watch their slippery wet body) as it is to sit together back-to-stomach (where you can easily give a wonderful massage and run your hands over their slippery wet body).
